개인적으로 일주일 중, 가장 힘든 화요일입니다. 이런 날에 조금 진취적이고 폭발적인 곡이 좋겠죠? 'Fall Out Boy / 폴아웃보이' 의 'Irresistible' 입니다.

Fall Out Boy 는 패트릭 스텀프(Patrick Stump, 보컬), 피터 웬츠(Peter Wentz, 베이스), 조 트로우먼(Joe Trohman, 기타), 앤디 헐리(Andy Hurley, 드럼) 로 구성된 4인조 록 밴드입니다. 이제는 가는 곳마다 헤드라이너로 장식되는 거물급 밴드로 성장한 밴드입니다. 시원한 패트릭 스텀프의 보컬이 특징적인 팀이고 약간 팝 성향도 있는 밴드입니다. 한 때 잠정적 활동 중단으로 여러 루머가 돌기도 했지만, 잘 컴백해서 지금도 열심히 활동 중인 밴드입니다.

'Irresistible' 는 국내에선 겨울왕국 'Let it go' 의 엔딩송 버전과 Camp Rock 이라는 디즈니 드라마로 잘 알려진 아티스트, 데미 로바토 / Demi Lovato 가 피쳐링한 곡입니다. 시원한 패트릭 스텀프의 보컬과 폭발적인 성량을 자랑하는 데미 로바토가 만나면서 듣는 내내 귀를 즐겁게 하는 곡이네요. 주 테마에서 브라스 사운드와 멜로디가 굉장히 특징적으로 보컬들이 후렴에서 받아주니 더 힘이 생기는 듯 합니다. 기존 곡들과 다르게 신스의 사용이 좀 많은 곡이라, 록 적인 느낌은 살짝 떨어지긴 하지만, 파워는 안 밀리네요.
